Nativity scene in progress

Ik haak een kerststal voor mezelf, al 3 jaar inmiddels. Hij bestaat dan ook al uit 3 figuren: Jezus, Maria en sinds gister Jozef. En ik ga vooruit, want waar Maria vorig jaar pas in januari af was (er kwamen een paar projecten tussendoor), begon ik Jozef op kerstavond en maakte hem op 1e kerstdag af.
Ik noem die kerststal altijd een tienjarenplan, maar als ik in dit tempo doorga, gaat het wel 15 jaar worden: ik wil nog een os, een ezel, een engel, een paar herders, een kudde schaapjes, drie koningen en een kameel. Maar goed, dan heb ik ooit ook wel de leukste kerststal van de hele wereld. Daar mag je best een beetje geduld voor hebben!

I am crocheting a nativity scene for myself, 3 years already now. It consists of 3 figures so far: Jesus, Maria and, since yesterday, Joseph. I am improving though, because last year Maria was only finished in January (some other projects came along), but I started Joseph on Christmas eve and finished him on Christmas day.
I always say this nativity scene is a ten year plan, but if I continue in this pace, it will take some 15 years actually: I still want an ox and a donkey, an angel, a few shepherds, a flock of sheep, three kings and a camel. But then I will have the best nativity scene in the world, eventually. That's a good reason for a little patience!
